Day # 1, Saturday: Arriving Cairo, Egypt
Meet and assist by Memphis Tours representative upon arrival at Cairo international airport then you will be accompanied to your hotel in Cairo for check in with free time at leisure at the hotel and overnight stay
Day # 2,Sunday: Giza Sightseeing Tours
You will be accompanied by your knowledgeable English speaking tour guide and driver to visit Sakkara-Step Pyramid of Djoser and Pyramid of Teti, the Alabaster statue of Ramses II at Memphis the capital of ancient Egypt, See Sphinx and the Giza Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinos. Lunch included enroute. Back to the hotel for free time at leisure with optional tour to the Sound and light show at the Pyramids –evening time
Day #3,Monday: Cairo Sightseeing Tours / SS Misr Nile Steamer
Egyptian Museum-guided tour including Tomb of Tutankhamen and Mummies Room. Early as possible to avoid crowds. Old Cairo walking tour visits Ben Ezra, the ruins of a Roman fortress and the Coptic Christian Church of St. Sergius. Islamic Cairo and Khan al-Khalili and Al-Azhar Mosque with stop for lunch enroute for local tasty food-included with Dr. Ragab’s Papyrus Institute and brief lesson then drive to Cairo domestic airport to fly to Aswan then transferred to SS Misr Nile Steamer ship for embarkation from Aswan for a seven-night stay and sail later to Kom Ombo and overnight.
Day #4,Tuesday: Kom Ombo Tours
Tour to visit the temple in Kom Ombo shared by the two gods Sobek and Haroeies, back to the Nile steamer vessel then continue sailing to Esna. Transit the Esna Lock and continue to Luxor with free time onboard in Luxor with overnight.
Day #5,Wednesday: Luxor Sightseeing Tour
Tour to visit to the West Bank includes the Valley of the Kings, temple of Queen Hatshepsut and Colossi of Memnon with transfer bach to SS Misr Nile boat for free time at leisure and overnight onboard in Luxor.Optional tour to the Sound and Light show at Karnak temple.
Day #6,Thursday: Luxor Sightseeing Tour
Tour to visit the East Bank (the temples of Karnak and Luxor) with transfer back to Nile steamer ship with free time at leisure onboard and continue sailing to Esna.
Day #7,Friday: Sightseeing Tour to Edfu temple
Sail to Edfu to visit the temple of Horus and continue later to Kom Ombo with free time at leisure and overnight onboard.
Day #8,Sturday: Aswan Sightseeing Tour
Sail to Aswan. Afternoon felucca ride and visit to the Botanical Gardens on Kitchener Island and free time at leisure onboard with optional Sound & Light performance at Philae.
Day #9,Sunday: Excursion to Abu Simbel
AM tour to Abu Simbel to explore the temples of Queen Nefertari and Ramses II then back to Aswan with transfer to the Nile steamer ship for free time at leisure onboard with overnight in Aswan.
Day #10,Monday: Aswan Sightseeing Tour
Tour to visit to the High Dam and island temple of Philae then back to the Nile steamer vessel to check out and disembarkation with transfer to Sofitel Old Cataract hotel Aswan for check in and overnight stay. Day #11,Tuesday: Aswan to Cairo
